Jeez, dude, I once convinced my younger brother that I worked the Tuesday-night bow-tying shift for Santa up at the North Pole (in his defense, he was like... four, and he called me on it when he was about six, telling me that not only did I not work for Santa, but that there *is* no Santa). Moral of the story: do not base important decisions upon information from siblings.
In this case, though, your brother's right in that Purdue has a rep for admitting a lot of people and then weeding them out, but if you're pretty diligent and do your work and stay on top of things, you'll be fine and you'll end up with a good degree from a good engineering program. If you were all set to go there before that, then just go there. |
