| I wouldn't trust the numbers in that article. It says that 500 more applicants were waitlisted this year than last year. That would be more like 1,300 this year, NOT 2,300.
It also says that 30% of waitlisted students will ultimately be accepted--no way. It's more like 30 students (at least that's what it was last year), especially since Penn already has admitted 170 more applicants this year than last year. |
