| There is currently a proposal by the faculty to make double majors more feasible by eliminating the 270 units beyond GIR requirements.
Under the proposal, you would just need to meet the requirements of each major in addition to the GIRs. In many cases, this would reduce the number of classes required to double major, especially if there is some overlap.
I am not sure when the proposal would come into effect if adopted. Possibly in time for class of 2012. |
