My son was offered the same Presidential Arts Scholarship at GW ($15k/yr), $16K merit from Oberlin, $6K merit from IU Jacobs and $5500 merit from U. Michigan all for violin performance. To think that he was told in September that he wouldn't even get into the top schools!!
