It shouldn't mean a lot to you...

Think about it - if the personal choice of classes pushes you just slightly above another, are you really that much better than them?

Or, what if things take a dive and you end up getting a B thru no fault of your own (eg. you get really sick)?

It's a worthless goal. You'll probably go to one of the top colleges and find that there's many more intelligent people that are simply above you.

This kind of competition is not healthy.
