| Just as a tangent, yoseph, we may not be able to lower the temperature of the Earth, but there is major evidence that we are the main cause behind the recent temperature spike. It is true that the Earth has hotter in the past - indeed, this is one of the cooler periods of Earth's history - but quick temperature spikes are often cause of...not good things.
