Not ridiculous at all. I personally know of two guys who managed to get rescinded for letting their grades slip. One got rescinded from UCSD for getting a D in calculus. The other was rescinded from Yale for getting two Cs. It's possible that Harvard's standards are a lot lower than Yale's, but somehow I doubt it. He was given a chance to offer a good explanation (such as illness or a death in the family) but he had none.
Why take chances with your dream opportunity that you have worked so long and hard to achieve? Make sure that you continue to be the same fine student that Harvard thought they admitted. |
