| Both schools are very good. I assume you have not had a chance to visit them? A couple of things: I believe Vandy requires on campus living - at least in the first years and I think Wash U does not (but their 'South 40' is really neat and there are a lot of students who live on campus). However, dorm living is a big plus in terms of quality of life and community, so a high percentage of students living on campus is a positive for most people. The cities of Nashville and St. Louis are very different from each other. Nashville is, as you may know, home to the country music scene in the US. St. Louis has some interesting history, there's a huge park with art museums, a zoo, etc., right across the street from the campus. Wash U has a business school, but Vandy does not offer a business degree per se. Since that seems to be your area of interest, I would say you selected the correct school. |
