| My D is going to take the Spring guarantee and probably start off at Pace in NYC. We are finding that many of the private schools that she applied to are really coming through with scholarships to get her tuition down to close to UMass. We should have tried more private schools. When she was looking at school options we were focusing on tuition costs.
She is interested in theater and tried NYU auditions, but didn't make it in. Does anyone know much about the UMass theater program? I saw that they have a consortium with other five schools for performances.
Did everyone else know but me that the so called tuition waivers only cover a small portion of the tuition and not fees which make up 90% of the tuition cost. I was so excited that she would be getting free tuition; not realizing until I talked to someone at work that it only covers about $1,700. |
