| Should I Apply ED?
I am now a junior in high school who is looking at attending Reed. Without a doubt Reed is my overall first choice and I am absolutely in love with the philosophy of the school and with the academic environment. However, my overall GPA is only around a 3.0, which is far below the average 3.8 of most Reedies, but my GPA over the last year alone is around 3.9 and my SAT is pretty good with a 700 CR score (but I do not remember the other numbers). Do you think that the fact that I have turned myself around gradewise in the past year and that I am a strong writer who can convey my love for and want to attend the school effectively will make me a good candidate for ED? |
