| I was required to take Health Education in my freshmen year (I am a sophomore this year), however, due to budget cuts heath education was unavailable this year. Next year though, all of the freshmen this year have to take it.
Honestly, health education in my school is probably the same like it is elsewhere. We learned about drugs, sex (i.e. contraceptives, etc), making healthy choices for your body (i.e. exercising, balancing your diet). The ironic thing was that our teacher basically told us to wait until you're married to have sex. Near the end of the year, she actually got pregnant and wasn't married. XP |
