| HELP! Junior son with lots of talent but only fair grades!
My question is for parents who have children who are actively engaged in all of the extracurriculars ... vocal groups, theater performances, etc. Our son is very talented but academics are an issue . (Even though we've stressed the i mportance of Junior year grades he is not doing as well as he should be. Does anyone know the chances of his getting into decent school for Musical Theater based on a low B-mid C average with SAT's approx 1250(Reading and Math)? Any suggestions for where to apply? He is looking at Pace, Ithaca, U of Arts, Hartt School -- we are frustrated parents who support his talents but can't take his tests for him! Looking for good advice from parents who have had to deal with this type of situation and where to apply! Thanks!
