If by all else being equal you mean grades being equal too, then that program might be slightly more attractive for risk management, derivatives trading, fixed income research, exotic structuring, and other technical roles. But chances are, you'll get higher grades as an econ major than doing that nasty financial economics and OR stuff, and that will have a bigger influence than the title of your program. |
