While the white tile might not be ideal ... and this is debateable ... i think I saw that the white tile runs through the adjacent rooms. If the kitchen tile is changed, the house is likely to look choppy. I would warm up with area rugs as needed.
And I think RODS final color scheme sounds wonderful.
