I agree with godfatherbob... avoid caffeine - not only does it typically result in energy crashes, but it can increase anxiety and/or panic, which is not desirable when taking the SAT... on the whole, i'd recommend eating healthful foods, such as fruits and vegetables and snacks like nuts (keep your blood sugar levels stable).

If you get fatigued mid-test, try deliberate and deep breathing - this increases the amount of oxygen to your brain and the rest of your body and can help give you a boost of energy.

I also agree with "you'll see" who suggests taking more practice tests... taking a 4 hour exam requires practice (and endurance building)... kinda like training for a marathon. Good luck!
