One problem with waiting til August is you'll hit the rush. That will potentially cause your computer to take longer to be processed and shipped.
My parents bought their new laptop first week of August last year. It took until at least the end of the month if longer than that to arrive. OTOH, I ordered mine (same model) at the end of May last year and it arrived in 4 days over a weekend
