What school are you at? It's hard to see what's going on without the formatting. I'll use a random cc as an example: ASSIST Report: LAPC 07-08 UCLA Articulation Agreement by Major

If you took biology 6,7,40 and 46, you would satisfy the LS series.

You CAN double dip between IGETC and pre-reqs, what you can't do is double dip inside the IGETC. Like you couldn't use spanish 101 to satisfy both a humanities and a culture (or whatever it is, i can't remember) section. I think the foreign language section is an exception though.

edit: I stopped being an idiot and looked closer at your post. It looks like you're saying the same thing I said. You can use 1 class or a series of classes to fulfill multiple requirements.

2nd edit, then I'm going to bed. Really: It's ok if you have a lot more than 60 units if you've only gone to a CC. If you've gone to a 4 year, you might be in trouble. How many units are you expecting?
