Thank you bz2010 for your good wishes on my kitchen project. I appreciate it! I am eagerly waiting for my new cabinets to arrive and keeping my fingers crossed that everything will turn out just fine. I had planned on remodeling the kitchen with both kids out of the nest, but it just so happens that both kids want to come home at the end of the semester for a brief visit before they head back to campus to do their summer research, and THAT week just SO HAPPENS to be the week when the cabinets will be here and kitchen tear down will begin!!! I don't want to discourage my kids from coming home and I don't want to postpone the project either. This just goes to show that the best laid plans can still go awry. I always try to stay positive. In a way, it is probably not a bad idea for the kids to be here to witness the kitchen transformation so that it's more of a "family project".
