| Yes, they see letter grades, and usually compute their own GPA based on that. They'll know. But do know that it might affect your class rank. My school's very similar, but on a 6.0 weighted scale (so it seems like you're doing awesome when your uw GPA is not so hot), and straight-A students in no AP/IB classes could very well not be in the top 10%. You personally seem to be on a great track, and I'm sure much of your school is in the same boat, meaning your rank is fine, but don't just get angry at the system and refuse to acknowledge the Advanced options (not that you will, just saying). |
