| I think one of the points of dissension here may be the idea of what a college education is. If you are focusing on the major and the preparation for a particular career, then certainly the University of Iowa may have the best program in the world in some particular field. If, however, you are focusing more on the overall quality of a liberal arts education, then you are going to get more at an elite college. Understanding how you feel about that distinction might help you make a decision, I suppose. |
