Hi, my first and second semesters of college I did really bad. I had my priorities really tangled up with work, school, and basically I ended up just throwing away money. I have 4 W's and 3 F's and a D. I was recently re-admitted on academic probation for the summer semester. I am retaking the classes that I got F's and a D's to replace those grades. I've had a dream for a long time to go to UT so my goal is to retake the classes with the F's and the D, attend UTSA for the summer, spring, fall, and get 30 or more transferable hours and get close to a 4.0 GPA. My question is how badly do those grades look on your transcript ( the old ones) and how greatly are W's looked upon when it comes to transfer students?
