| Parents usually come only for moving in day and then leave. In fact, when we dropped my son off this past August, the dorm (Mudge) had planned a student-only reception that evening, so we had to be gone by 6pm. The rest of freshman week has a variety of activities to help students meet each other, figure out the campus, be exposed to activities and get ready for an academically challenging (yet rewarding!) first year. |
