FBLA vs BPA?

I did DECA in my sophomore year (currently a Junior in Illinois) and it was pretty great. I made it to the state level, but didn't make it to Internationals.

This year I did BPA. I qualified for the national level in 2 contests with a 1st in an individual (Fundamentals of XHTML) and 2nd in a team event (Web Application Team). So, I'll be going to Reno this week (cya there!). However, BPA was definetly a lot smaller than DECA. The number of people at state in DECA was enormous; I felt like the competition at BPA wasn't very tough. I only got 1 question wrong on the XHTML test, and I qualified for Web Apps since there were only 2 teams from Illinois. It could just be that I did well on the test, but I don't know.

I'm planning on doing DECA next year, but I have been looking at FBLA recently. My school doesn't have an FBLA organization. It seems VERY similar to BPA, but it, overall, seems to have more polish. Also, I read that its a very large organization, and I wonder if they might have more competitors than we have in BPA in Illinois.

Does anyone have any recommendations about FBLA or BPA over one or the other? I would look into starting an FBLA group at my school if there seems to be reason that its better than BPA. Actually, it may be a good idea simply because not many people are joining BPA at my school anymore.
