@Snappy1 - okay, we (those who were interviewed) have earned this opportunity by working hard and thus deserve to be notified of our status regarding the scholarship in a timely manner, or at least by the date that was promised....its only decency....im sure decency exists even in public schools. what if i was to decide between Cal and other schools and getting the alumni scholarship was a big factor? shouldn't they realize the possibility of such students and therefore do all that they can to send notifications at least before May 1? i mean, thats just being smart.....im sure being smart exists at a public school...
