god, can't believe i missed that hahahah

) dunno, it does sound harsh when you hear that data, but for example in one of those princeton revies books or whatever, you know that "300 best colleges" and similar, they say that caltech has 28% admission rate from the waiting list.. so as it's 17% to get admitted to caltech at the first place, there are bigger chances to be admitted if you get on the waiting list, then at the first place, right?
