it shouldn't if you are a genius who can grasp concepts just by listening/reading it once and can do homework without getting stuck. But unfortunately from your description you belong to the "normal" intellectual group so you have to either suck it up and become one of those nerds to get good grades or just enjoy your college life and keep your "I'm better than these no life nerds" attitude towards your nerdy colleagues.
