i still haven't heard either, but if you peruse the aforementioned thread, you'll see stats of girls who were both accepted and rejected. i don't think any of them received the letter you did, though. i think the fact that you received that letter is a good thing. provided your final transcript is good, you're probably in.
i applied to barnard as well, but i haven't received anything from them except a letter requesting more financial aid information from me.
