~~ About Michigan Learning Communities~~ (URGENT)

Hi all,

I've heard about them but don't know much about them. They seem all the same to me....

Can anyone tell me about them? When is the deadline, application process, etc etc..? What are the benefits and downfalls? MLCs required to live in some dorm? What do they do?

Am I too late to apply now?

I've also accepted my place in the Martha cook. And i know the residental and the michigan community scholars program require me to live in a specific dorm. SO, I would prefer a program where i'm not required to live in a specific housing. i think this includes the Honors, University Mentorship program, Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program, and the Comprehensive Studies Program.. anything else?

Any suggestions? Advice? Please help and thanks in advance. pretty urgent as I want to get all umich business done soon.

oh and too, if i want to enter the ross program in second year, which mlc would you recommend me?
