College Discussion - View Single Post - Does it look really bad if my scores go down significantly on a second sitting SAT?

This happened to my daughter (March vs. October).
Her CR went down 90 points and her math 20. Her writing score went up 50 to a perfect 800.

I was really worried about the drop. However, I feel pretty certain that all the schools she applied to superscored.
She was accepted at Vassar, Barnard, Macalester, Kenyon, Grinnel, BU and Skidmore.
I don't know how the Ivies deal with this issue.

Good luck and don't lose sleep over it like I did.
