| My history is somewhat similar to holly06's D and I actually ended up making the same choice: UArts. I only auditioned for three schools, cancelling my other auditions after I got into two of them.
I'd say, from my experience and talking to people at various schools, that at many places it's overstated how difficult it is to get accepted as a transfer, though it's likely that you'll have to stay an extra 1-2 years depending on how old you are.
If you really want to do MT take acting classes, private voice lessons and try to get ONSTAGE experience (nothing will replace this) at regional theatres and then audition again. |
