| If you're smart/proactive and go to a target school, you can get an internship at an investment bank or hedge fund as a frosh or soph, even without strong connections. You'll just have to network (i.e. find alumni and contact them expressing your interest in finance and ask if they can take any time to talk to you). It worked for me and I have a relatively crappy GPA (3.2). |
