I think dconcerned's request is so simple even a dog could understand what to so. So I will start.Initial list:

Cambridge
Chicago, U
Cornell
Edinburgh
Harvard
Imperial
LSE
MIT
Oxford
Penn, U
Princeton
Stanford
UCBerkeley
Yale

I propose you add for the US and UK
Soas
KCL (kings college)
UCL (university college)
Georgetown (because I go there)
Warwick
Brown
Northwestern
(Technically all the top 20 schools on US News are sought after by international students except University of Notre Dame and maybe Vanderbilt and Emory. I would add Tufts instead. U mich also deserves to be on the least of international prestige)
