Like many young adults in college, Clinton's politics changed from those of her father to her own views at the time of the 1968 election. I doubt she was the only student that year to experience a conversion. It was a polarizing summer of politics and unrest, starting with the assassinations of MLK and Robert Kennedy and culminating with the riots at the Democratic Convention in Chicago. |
