| I'd say a tough bet for HYP with the scores, though you seem to have good EC's but yeah I agree with the_village_idiot, you gotta focus on a couple of them to make yourself really stand out.
I'd say if you focused more on your classical music and martial arts as a talent and your social service (which I think is brilliant by the way) and the Debate/Stock Market leadership stuff you really are a well-rounded candidate.
Still, gotta pull those scores up though, I'm an ORM as well and an international and I think the only thing that stopped me from being outright rejected from a couple of top-tier schools were my SAT's. I was barely top 10% of my class and my EC's were far inferior to yours for sure.
Oh btw I was rejected from Harvard/Yale this year and got into UChicago (if that's what you mean by Chico)...not enrolling there though |
