| Community colleges have a cut off date for when you can petition for a W. If your semester ends around May 20th- end of may that deadline has most likely passed.
go to your community college website and look up the academic calendar for the semester it will say something like "last day to drop course with W"
The drops are always approved without having to do anything on your part except fill out the petition before the deadline.
You are not a transfer so i can not comment on how a W would affect you as a high school student. I know for transfers no one cares. I had 19w's i went to UCLA.
As a high school student you should contact your school and ask them directly, by your school i mean the one you are going to attend in the fall. But check the deadline for the W option first. |
