I only got a parking permit twice. Other times i had to pay 8 dollars / day to park.

I had to go to work in beverly hills after school so i had to take my car, i came home really late sometimes i did not feel comfortable taking the bus so late , plus i had to do stuff like grocery shopping etc. So for me i had to go by car

Depending on where you want to park and WHEN you get there you may or may not have a hard time finding a space.

If you get there even like 15 min later than planned all the spaces may be full. I usually tried to get there 45 min b4 class but depending on the days and times of my class, you sort of figure it out as you go when it is busy and when it is not.

I had class at 8 and there was no way i was doing any homework on the bus at 6 am or whatever.

Depending on how often you plan on having class it might be worth it to drive.
Like if it is only twice a week, just drive it but that is 16 bucks for parking plus gas

If you dont get a parking permit for fall, check out craigslist you might be able to get one there, BUT they go for 3x as much oftentimes because people who have money and cars on campus need a place to park those cars and are willing to pay upwards of 500/quarter for the permit. Permits are 187 ( this might have changed cost wise)
