| I'm a CCC student admitted to UCB Fall 08 in Computer Science. From the peers in my Data Structures II class, I can say that if you have a 3.7 or above, you will have a really good shot at getting accepted (if you are transferring from CCC).
I had a 3.91 GPA, few ECs, strong essay. Seeing as you are going to transfer from UC to UC, you will probably need something very close to 4.0 GPA, complete most or all of your major prereqs, ECs probably don't matter, and make sure you have a strong essay.
Side Note: Why are you choosing to go to UCD if you are planning to transfer to UCB? It would be a lot easier to go to a CCC and transfer to a UC. I anticipate that your answer will have something to do with your parents thinking that a CCC is a synonym for failure. |
