| As far as academics and faculty at Chapman, I think the website will tell you what you want to know. We went to Preview Day there a few weeks ago. The area is beautiful and it was about 20 minutes from the beach, so that was nice. Social life is supposedly a bit slower than at some schools since it is a smaller school (about 5,000 students) in a suburban location. Greek life is big there.
I don't think you can generalize about the students at any school. There is always a mix of snobs, friendly, etc.
