Razorsharp, how do you figure? For the last couple of month, most polls have suggested that Hillary would lose against McCain whereas Obama would beat McCain.

Clinton is closer to McCain's stature than is Obama.
McCain has a lot of experience. Obama has very little. Clinton has much more than Obama.
McCain will be perceived as strong on national defense. Obama is weak on national defense. Clinton has served on several national security committes and recently said the US would blow up Iran if Iran used nuclear weapons on Israel (thereby saving the Jewish vote). Clinton won't be perceived as a wimp, Obama will be perceived as a wimp.
McCain has worked with Democrats over and over again. Obama has never worked with Republicans. Clinton has worked with Republicans and will be perceived as a uniter. Obama will be perceived as a liar becuase he says he will bring people together but he has never joined with the Republicans on issues important to them.
McCain will keep the tax cuts. Clinton will raise them only a little. Obama will raise capital gains taxes back to 28 percent which will impact seniors most of all. Obama will not get the senior vote.
McCain is a moderate. Clinton is moving from liberal to moderate in her public policies. Obama is remaining far left and won't move to the middle, period.
In short, Obama is a good talker but he is toast in a general election. Clinton has a realistic shot. Current polls mean nothing.
