tega, I agree. The only thing that really bothers me about Obama is a certain segment of his supporters. Their behavior at our local caucus was obnoxious and immature (and I'm talking about 60 yr olds, in addition to the 18 yr old whom they chose as their speaker). They were unable to answer the simplest of policy questions posed by us undecideds. Instead they attacked the H rep. Their statements that they will stamp their tiny feet and go home if their candidate is not nominated fill me with scorn. The important issue is not their hero-worship. The lives and futures of millions of people are at stake. They need to grow up.

John McCain would have us in Iraq ad infinitum. We would squander untold billions and thousands of lives. It would be the ruination of us. That is what Democrats need to keep in the forefront of their minds.

Personally, I wish John Edwards had stayed in the race, but I will support either candidate. It's too important not to.
