At the introductory level no one should suck at anything. Talk to the professor, ask what he thought your weakness was, ask what you got wrong the most. Work on that. There's a book out there called Economics: A Self-Teaching Guide by Steve Slavin, and I've heard people rave about it (as well as some of his math books for precalculus topics). Take a semester off from econ, work on the skills that need work, and maybe go through that book.
