I think my CC has the same system. You have to book it that week for an appointment the week after, but right now they're completely booked since the semester is ending. They said I have to call on Monday morning at 8 am in order to get an appointment. If you call any later than that , then they're always booked! CRAZY people!
P.s. Congrats on getting into UCI! I should've said that earlier. I hear they have a great English program
