You should definitely contact your Admissions Adviser before you do anything. As long as they know what you're up to and it isn't something drastic it's usually acceptable. They just get a little bit touchy about admits springing things at the last minute. They hate it when we grow brains on them. Free will is allowed -- but only once you get here.
