| Ptb, if the Governor's School you mention is as highly regarded as the one in Richmond (and if the atmosphere suits your daughters personality), I would think it would be a benefit for her to go. I know admissions departments "know" certain schools in different areas, so you might want to check with the counselors at your Governor's School and see if they have had any grads apply/go to ND. An established relationship with ND and the high school counselors should be able to shed some light on the expectations, perceived strengths and weaknesses of the school. |
