CMC's PPE program

The PPE program at CMC is wonderful. There is nothing quite like it at any of the other colleges. First, it's tutorial and seminar based. So, you really get to engage with the texts and form bonds with the students and professors. Also, it is enrollment limited. This makes the program somewhat prestigious, but also fosters a relationship between the students. Since it's such a small program, students attend dinner at the prof's house and have class lunches in the village. In addition, you get a stipend so the school pays for PPE books. As for Oxford, there is no restriction about which study abroad program you attend. So, you can go to Oxford. I know two PPE students who are going to Oxford next fall. All in all, PPE is a great program. If you want to learn how to write well, synthesize large amounts of information, and grapple with complex theories of political science, philosophy, and economics, then do the PPE program.
