no offense... cardiology is different from cardiac surgery... i wouldnt really wanna spend my time doing cardiology... and cardiac surgery has 3 principle surgeries- heart valve replacement, bypass surgery, and transplant...

sure heart is important, but when a hospital is first created they dont hire cardiologists, or cardiac surgeons, rather neurosurgeons are priority, those are tertiary...

Im not saying its a bad thing, but i was kind of interested in the medicine part of MD, but surgery is more my thing. Good to know a lil bit of both though.. Cardio was one of my choices when i got accepted for the fellowship..

and dont worry i know ur joking lol
