| The english waiver will still work with 5's. The difference is now the prereq's and the breadth classes have to be fulfilled at Berkeley or summer school etc. You can't use them to just not take a class. You will get elective credit. It's not on the website yet, as the faculty supposedly has to go through a voting process on it. But it will be explained at CALSO. The math requirement is a prereq and has to be taken so you can't use a math AP test to waive that. I think it's a good thing because now everyone will be evaluated on how they do at Cal not just on an AP exam. |
