I also mentioned that UChicago has a statement that discourages heterosexism and anti-homosexuality, and that your anti-homosexual stance is a threat to this statement. Why is that wrong to point out?
There's no doubt Chicago students are bright. I have no problem with UChicago students in general... just those like Beefs who pick on Northwestern in particular. It's totally fine to have personal preferences when it comes to the school you want to attend (I myself would go to many others before I even consider UChicago), but this doesn't mean picking on one particular school (bashing it implicitly or explicitly) is respectful. |
