If you enjoy finance or believe you would enjoy it then pursue finance.
These career profiles are good for people that don't know much about the careers, but they are still simply broad generalizations. There are different types of successful people in every line of work. A career profile can help guide your decision but if you aren't interested in accounting, don't do accounting.

Tumbling is far too strong of a word. It's impossible to say what the future may hold. Accounting has obviously proven to be a very steady job over the years, but you are still young and the implications/risks are probably not that great for you anyways.
