| I don't know details, but I know for sure that there is a girl who is currently in the program who transferred from another school. ( I believe Wagner College.) She attended the Steinhardt summer MT program last year, possibly earning some extra NYU credits before starting in the fall. As for the program itself, everything is pretty clearly outlined on NYU's website. They give you the exact curriculum and classes in the sequence they are to be taken and what credits must be taken outside of the department.
To summarize briefly, students in VP have either a MT or classic concentration. In addition, there is a common core curriculum for all music majors. Also, required courses to meet required courses for the Steinhardt school. |
